The Apes Hill Club in Barbados is relaunching under new ownership with a mission to be “the most spectacular and memorable golfing experience in the Caribbean” and one of the most prestigious places to own a home.

Apes Hill’s 18-hole championship golf course closed for renovations last December, and as part of the redesign will feature a new island 19th hole which has been modelled on the 17th at TPC Sawgrass in Florida.

A new 9-hole, par-3 course is also being added, while other golf facilities will include a new state-of-the-art golf academy which will include a Titleist Performance Institute.

Set in 470 acres at 1,000 feet above sea level, in the centre of the island, Apes Hill enjoys an enviable location with majestic views of both the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. New estate homes are available for sale and construction will start late 2020. Three and four-bedroom villas start from £1.15 million.

The club’s website, www.apeshillclub.com, is currently under construction.
