Basingstoke Golf Club (pictured above) has launched its new website, offering members and guests an easier way to explore and book everything the redeveloped Hampshire club has to offer.

The launch of the website is the latest step in the £20 million transformation of the club, which was officially opened by Masters champion Ian Woosnam, Solheim Cup star Charley Hull and Walker Cup player Charlie Forster in May.

Reflecting the modern, welcoming character of the club, the new site makes it simpler for golfers to book tee times, explore membership options and discover the 1907 Academy, while also showcasing the club’s 18-hole championship downland course designed by Weller Designs.

David Green, general manager at Basingstoke Golf Club, said: “We’ve created something very special here at Basingstoke Golf Club and it was important that our website matched the quality of the experience golfers enjoy when they arrive.

“Whether you’re a member checking the latest news, a visitor planning a round or someone thinking about taking up the game at the academy, everything is now just a few clicks away.”

The 1907 Academy gets its own section on the site. Developed in partnership with SYNLawn UK and built using sustainable, natural materials, the 1907 Academy is equipped with the latest Trackman technology and offers coaching programmes and practice for golfers of all abilities, from juniors and beginners to performance players.

The launch comes during a busy period for the club, which will host the 2027 Girls’ and Boys’ Home Internationals next August. The website will be a central point of information for players, families and spectators in the build-up to the championship.

The club has also been recognised by England Golf as an Official Championship Venue, an accreditation that reflects the quality of its championship course and the standard of its facilities, from the clubhouse to the practice areas. The status puts Basingstoke firmly on the national stage and paves the way for the club to host further England Golf championships in the years ahead.

Basingstoke relocated to its new home in Dummer in 2021 and has since undergone a major redevelopment, including a par-72 layout, the 1907 Academy, a state-of-the-art short game area and an impressive new clubhouse.

Easily accessible from junction seven of the M3, Basingstoke Golf Club is well placed to serve its membership and attract visiting golfers from across the region and the south of England.
